The Cage

“The cage 2” (2002)

During the year 2001 Dario decided to have a follow up to The Cage with Tony Martin and started to write and record new songs in his own recording studio. He had to interrupt the job only during July and November, when he was called by his friends Don Airey and Graham Bonnet in order to perform and play in front of a UK audience for a tour where the band played songs from the Rainbow album “Down To Earth”.

The new album, entitled “Mollo/Martin The Cage - ll" was finally completed in december 2001 with an amazing lineup which includes Tony Franklin (Blue Murder, The Firm) on bass, Roberto Gualdi on drums and Dario Patti on keyboards.
